David and Josh are back! In this re-pilot episode, Josh and David talk Guardians of the Galaxy and the Marvel/DC cinematic universes.
This episode was originally published on 8/14.
Our first episode was originally made a couple weeks ago, but here it is again if you missed it! Come back Friday morning at 10 for a brand new show.
So tonight’s the big night. “The Doctor lands” and all that, I can’t wait and there’s one moment I’m looking forward to the most.
I don’t know where it will be with Tennant it was when he swaggered out of the Tardis in pajamas and silenced the Cycorax, for Smith it was when he stepped through the footage of his prior selves with his new bow tie and said “Hello, I’m the Doctor.”
It’s that moment where the actor on screen becomes the doctor and you wonder how it could have ever been anyone else . I can’t wait to see this happen with Capaldi tonight. What are you looking forward to seeing?
It’s late and I may be remembering wrong, but wasn’t Capaldi’s Doctor passing out in his first bit of screen time? If so, I find that hilarious.
Either way, I thought he was great and I only wish he was around more in the premiere. Hoping to see the show shaken up a little bit with his take on the character.
